Sally Hansen 'Nailgrowth Miracle Serum' Review

Sally Hansen- Nailgrowth Miracle Serum Packaging
I've been using this product for the last two weeks now. I've actually noticed a massive difference. I decided that I'd properly start to stop biting my nails. I saw how popular this product was and thought it would really help to start off my nail growth. It comes with a puppet making it easy to apply the serum to the nails. I rubbed a drop of the serum into each one of my nails once a day and I have seen a massive improvement.

It also comes with a puppet-Making it easier to apply the serum

Sally Hansen-Nailgrowth Miracle Serum

I don't have a 'before' picture of my nails :( but they were very short and very brittle. This serum has restored them completely. My nails used to grow to a certain point then break off but they are now so much stronger and feel a lot more smoother. It has also changed the appearance of my nails they now look so much healthier, they have that pinkish-red glow and the ends of my nails are quite white. So the serum really works wonders for nails. It has made them longer, stronger and healthier.

Left- My nail Progress
Right- The serum
Apologies that you can't really see my nails in the picture but they have grown a fair amount. As I continue to use the serum I will add updated pictures of my progress. The serum is quite thick but the nails very quickly absorb it. It doesn't smell great but the smell fades quickly after applying. As the serum is thick and gloopy it's very hard to get out of the bottle. The puppet doesn't pick up much product after a while. I have been using this everyday for two weeks and I think the product would have run out in another week. There isn't much product originally really but it's just gets harder and harder to get out of the bottle with each use.

My Drugstore Make Up Routine

Rimmel-Wake Me Up Foundation
Collection 2000-Lasting perfection Concealer
Maybelline-Fit Me! Pressed Powder
Rimmel-Stay Matte Pressed Powder
I love The 'Wake me up' foundation is one of the best I've used. It has an anti- fatigue effect which means it has more shimmer and glow in it. This helps brighten up dull skin. It's brilliant for covering dark under-eye circles and really wakes up tired looking skin. It makes skin more radiant and illuminates it. I use this in the shade 103-True Ivory and apply this with the Real Techniques 'Expert Face' brush. This brush gives my face such a flawless finish and blends in the foundation so well.
Next I conceal any blemishes, spots and dark under-eye circles. This product has been raved about so much and I can see why. It's my all time favourite concealer as it gives a lot of coverage and blends in so well. It also lasts all day. I have repurchased this many times. I use the light shade(all the writing has now rubbed off) and apply the concealer with a small, foundation brush.
I like to set my foundation and concealer with a powder. I prefer pressed powder as it's not too heavy and cacky and just tones down oily skin slightly. My favourite two at the moment are the 'Maybelline Fit Me!' and the 'Rimmel Stay Matte' pressed powders. They give a lot of coverage but feel very light on the face. I apply these with either a powder brush or a kabuki brush.
Bourjois- Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder
Ferne- Eye Shimmer
I've really started to love bronzer lately. My favourite one is the 'Bourjois Delice de Poudre' bronzing powder. It's so good for applying all of the face and even better for contouring. It adds a lot of depth to the face and really makes the cheek bones pop! It gives a really radiant, healthy glow and gives a very natural sun-kissed look. I like how you can either add this very lightly to the cheeks or build it up to give a darker glow. I apply this with the Real Techniques 'Stippling' brush to contour or a kabuki brush for an all over bronzed look. It also smells of chocolate, which is a massive bonus!
I then highlight above my cheek bones, under my brow bone and the cupids bow with the Ferne Cotton 'Eye Shimmer'. This product is actually an eye shadow but I think it makes such a nice highlight. It's very shimmery but I only apply a little bit. I apply it with a small, stippling brush and then blend my whole face with a kabuki brush.
Rimmel- Colour Rush Quad Eye Shadow-007 Café Latte
I use the dark shade to fill in my eyebrows. It is such a good match and I love how accurate I can apply it with a angled eye shadow brush. As you can see I've hit pan on this shade. I love how pigmented it is and also how consistent it is. The pigment lasts all day as well. I love this quad palette to do a smokey eye too. It has the crease colour and also a really nice highlight. It gives a very natural look.

Rimmel-Glam Eyes Quad Eye Shadow-019 Sun Safari
I love this small palette for a daytime look. From this I can get such a natural smokey eye. I love it for the daytime as well! This is my 'go to' palette. I always go back to this. It's really good for travelling as well as it's so small and compact. This eye shadows have a lot of pigment and are slightly shimmery. It makes blue eyes stand out a lot.
Collection 2000- Extreme 24 Hour Felt Tip Liner
Honestly this is one of the best eyeliners that I have used. It was raved about so much so I thought I'd give it a try. After purchasing this I haven't used another eyeliner since. The main thing I like about this is how long it lasts. It lasts all day! It's also very easy to wipe off using make up wipes though (I hate make up that's hard to get off!). It's very easy and simple to apply and you can make the line as thick or as thin as you like.
Maybelline- The falsies
Rimmel-Lash Accelerator Endless

I love these mascaras. They add a lot of length and volume to my lashes. I like to apply both of these mascaras together as the 'Rimmel mascara' adds length and separates the lashes and the 'Maybelline Mascara' is good for volume. The 'Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless' Mascara says that it has fibres that help grow your eyelashes. I haven't yet seen any results but I love this mascara regardless.
Rimmel-Apocalips-301 Galaxy

I love the Rimmel Apocalips lip gloss. It's really moisturising and blends well on lips. It has a good coverage and 'a little goes a long way'. The colours in this collection are very pigmented. It lasts most of the day as well! It's just very simple for everyday use.

Maybelline 'Baby Lips' Review

I have only recently just purchased Baby Lips but I have fallen in love with them. They are so moisturising. They are so glossy and define the lips amazingly. I love, love, love the packaging, it's just so 'playful' looking and stands out so much. I love how easy the lip balm is to apply throughout the day. It creates a very natural, light make up look making the lips  look radiant and glossy.

Baby Lips- Intense Care
The 'Intense Care' is just a clear lip balm. It does have some shimmer in it though. It is very moisturising and leaves the lips feeling and looking very hydrated. It's creates a really natural look but defines the lips and leaves them look very glossy and healthy. This is also a good lip balm to apply under/over lipstick.
Baby Lips- Pink Punch
The 'Pink Punch' is a very subtle pink lip balm. It has so shimmer which adds gloss to the lips. I love how subtle the colour of this is. It's very natural and perfect for summer. It keeps the face looking very healthy and radiant without heavy make up. This is also very moisturizing and the colour lasts for a fairly long time. This also looks lovely applied over a light pink lipstick. It not only adds gloss and shimmer but adds moisture too.
Baby Lips- Mint Fresh
The 'Mint Fresh' lip balm smells and tastes of mint (surprise, surprise) making it very refreshing. The smell reminds me of the Burts Bees beeswax lip balm. This is also a very moisturising lip balm. It has no colour tint to it, but does shimmer slightly. I like the fact that the lip balms have an SPF 20 protection. My lips stay hydrated whilst being in the sun.
Baby Lips- Peach Kiss
I really like the tint to this lip balm. It's a very natural nude colour. You can't really see it in the picture but its very shimmery but looks so natural on the lips. It enhances your lips a lot. Very moisturising just like the others. It smells like starburst which creates a really sweet, refreshing, summery smell.

Baby Lips- Cherry Me
This is probably my favourite lip balm from the Baby Lips range. I love the colour so much! It's very pigmented but also looks so natural on the lip. It smells amazing! Just like cherries! I love the fact that you can build up the colour, so you can choose whether you want a slightly more subtle or bolder lip. Looks glossy and 'wakes up' lips.
Baby Lips- Hydrate
This lip balm is very similar to the 'Intense Care' lip balm as it has no pigment. Although compared to the 'Intense Care' it is a lot whiter in colour and also is a lot more brightening. The smell of this lip balm is very refreshing and zingy. This isn't as shimmery as the others but has so much gloss! It brightens up your lips instantly and I feel this is true to the name and does have slightly more moisture than the other 'Baby Lips' lip balms.

Lee Stafford 'Bling' Products Review

Bling Hair Rehab Intense Conditioner

I use this as a deep conditioner, applying to my hair once a week. It's very moisturising and leaves my hair glossy. It also left my hair very soft. This is probably my favourite product out of the few I've tried from this range. I absolutely love deep conditioners and have tried many and although I don't think its the best one available out there, I think its still very good for a drugstore product. The spa-like smell is very strong in the conditioner and I personally don't like that as much. I find using this as an everyday conditioner would be very heavy for hair. But I definitely recommend applying this product to dry and brittle hair.

 Bling Wake Up Call
24-Seven Hair Refresher Spray
This is the perfect summer essential! I've recently started using this product a lot more, especially as the weather has been so hot and humid. You basically just spray this onto dry hair and it refreshes it. It's very similar to a dry shampoo just in liquid formula. I prefer this product to a dry shampoo though as it's not as heavy and has a nicer smell. It smells very spa-like. The thing I don't like this product is that if you apply to much of this spray it makes your hair look wet. Also all the product eventually builds up and leaves your hair feeling and looking greasy. I would only recommend using this product once between washes.

Bling 4 Brunettes Glossing, Glimmer Serum

I haven't used this product a lot as I feel it's more of a night product than a day product. I love serums as they add a lot of moisture to hair. This serum smells so luxurious. I prefer this product when applied to wet hair before blow drying as it makes the shimmer more subtle. You can apply to dry hair but I personally think it looks very tacky.

My Drugstore Skincare Routine

Simple- Kind to skin cleansing facial wipes
I use the Simple- kind to skin cleansing facial wipes to wipe off my make up. The wipes make it very easy to remove all make up. Also good for dark make up and around the eyes. Also very moisturising and suitable for most skin types.

balance Me- Pure skin face wash,
Clean&Clear- Advantage fast actiondaily wash,
Neutrogena- Visibly clear

I use the balance Me  face wash twice a day. I like this as it leaves my skin feeling very hydrated and cleansed. I use the Clean&Clear daily wash when I have breakouts as this is a heavier, deeper cleanser and helps clear spots quicker. I use the Neutrogena Visibly clear  mainly as a face mask. I use this once/twice a week to unblock my pores and cleanse my skin deeply.

Add  Simple- Kind to skin hydrating light moisturiser,
Bio-Oil

I use the Simple light moisturiser after I've cleansed my face in the morning. I use this before I apply my make up. It's very moisturising. It sinks into skin very easy and fast. It isn't to heavy and is a good make up base. I apply the Bio- Oil every night after I've washed off my make up and cleansed my skin. It's really good at hydrating skin and also evens out skin tone.

Sudocrem,
Clean&Clear- Advantage fast action spot treatment gel

I use the Sudocrem as a face mask once a week. It's very good for spots/breakouts and blemishes. It balances out red blemishes and uneven skin tones. This is also good for applying on spots and tones them down and cancels out the redness. I only use the Clean&Clear spot treatment gel when I have a breakout. I just apply it to the spots and leave overnight. I repeat this for two/three nights.

 Burt's Bees- Beeswax lip balm
Vaseline- Cocoa butter
Carmex- Strawberry moisturising lip balm

I love all three of these lip products. They're all very moisturising. They are colourless so good to apply either under or over lipstick. My favourite is the Vaseline cocoa butter. It's so hydrating, it smells amazing and there's so much product in the tin. I've gone through so many of these!
